Female-oriented dating app that puts safe and respectful communication first. Bumble provides a quick matching system based on mutual opt-ins, empowering women to start a conversation, thus avoiding unwanted messages. However, if no communication takes place within 24 hours, your connection disappears forever, which is hardly convenient for those who prefer to give a lot of thought before starting a new relationship.

Pros:

  • protection from unwanted messages
  • photo-messenger.

Cons:

  • 24-hour limit to start a conversation
  • dialogues between different sexes can be initiated only by women
  • sign in with Facebook to create an account.

    Have to sign into Facebook
I’ve never used a dating app or website before, so I’ve been a bit apprehensive about downloading any. When I read about this app however, I was pretty excited about it because the woman makes the first move, and I thought it sounded perfect for me! I was quickly disappointed to learn however that you have to sign into Facebook in order to use it. I got rid of my Facebook a ways back! If they get rid of this issue, I will re-download the app, but for now it’s gone from my phone.

    Has potential
A lot of potential. Don’t run out of people like others say. But I constantly get notifications saying I have a connection yet nothing shows up in the connections. Too glitchy. Either the app is lying or profiles are fake. Can’t tell. Fix the glitches

    Horrible, no connections
I understand this from a woman’s perspective but a guy rarely makes a connection so the app is worthless.

    Doesn’t Work Anymore
It used to be able to locate me, now it can’t. Broken and unusable, plain and simple.

    A waste of time
Cool concept… if it actually worked. I never received any messages or connections or nothing after a few months. Also, you have to have FB to use it. That’s pretty stupid if you ask me.

Profile lists my employer, are you kidding me!?!?!!
This app could have been something, however because I have my employer listed on Facebook you’ve posted on my profile with NO way to remove it. I do NOT want this kind of information posted on a dating app. I want some privacy. Absolutely absurd I can’t remove this without deleting it from my Facebook profile first. And how do you select the pictures. No ability to upload or choose which picture from my FB photos I’d like to have posted. Some of the pictures Bumble selected were so old too. I like the fact Tinder ha some competition, but you’ll need to do an update to fix issues mentioned. I deleted my profile when I realtors I could fix these issues.

    LGBT be warned
There’s something wrong with the app’s algorithm because I am a gay man and have definitely been getting straight matches. I asked Bumble and they assured me gay/bi people are matched together, but they are wrong.

    Get rid of Facebook
Don’t use Facebook any more so I guess I can’t use this app. Disappointing…
