Female-oriented dating app that puts safe and respectful communication first. Bumble provides a quick matching system based on mutual opt-ins, empowering women to start a conversation, thus avoiding unwanted messages. However, if no communication takes place within 24 hours, your connection disappears forever, which is hardly convenient for those who prefer to give a lot of thought before starting a new relationship.

Pros:

  • protection from unwanted messages
  • photo-messenger.

Cons:

  • 24-hour limit to start a conversation
  • dialogues between different sexes can be initiated only by women
  • sign in with Facebook to create an account.

    Have to sign into Facebook
I’ve never used a dating app or website before, so I’ve been a bit apprehensive about downloading any. When I read about this app however, I was pretty excited about it because the woman makes the first move, and I thought it sounded perfect for me! I was quickly disappointed to learn however that you have to sign into Facebook in order to use it. I got rid of my Facebook a ways back! If they get rid of this issue, I will re-download the app, but for now it’s gone from my phone.

    User base are Too Smal
No ability to search by radius. Gives you nearest” user which is by no means close.”

Basically works, but matches are slow to come in. Is it already overcrowded with guys?
Basically works, but matches are slow to come in. Is it already overcrowded with guys? That and I have seen a girl come up again after we matched and she let it expire.

    Unusable
Maybe it’s just me, but I found this app literally impossible to use. None of the text rendered, so I had no idea what I was looking at

    Deleted
I like the concept of this app a lot. However, apparently when you have voted on everyone in your area it brings in people from outside the distance parameters you have set. This is incredibly annoying, and it makes the distance parameter seem pointless. I deleted the app because I got tired of voting on people 90-100 miles away when I had my distance set to 50.

You can’t sit with us, Bumble!
This is such a stupid app! Obviously the good reviews were written by Bumble employees. How about trying even just a little bit to sound more authentic guys? Anyway… Don’t waste your time with this atrocity. First of all, this completely defies the social norm of guys approaching girls first. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying that defying that norm specifically already sets you up for failure. Second of all, coercing girls into talking within a specific timeframe is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. People are busy. This was obviously put in place to force people to swipe” in the hopes re-finding that lost match thus inflating engagement numbers for the app. Finally

    What a crock of sh….
Worst gimmicky knockoff app ever. You can tell that all of the positive reviews have been written by employees and their friends. Don’t waste your time, and don’t encourage this garbage by downloading the app.

    Buggy as hell.
2 months later this app still is crap. Doesn’t work on 6+ Can’t even change my profile info because the screen freezes and doesn’t respond to touch. Horrible
